Before and after All-on-4 dental implants in Essex
Gerald Hutchinson visited Advance Dental Clinic to enquire about replacing his missing teeth, as well as replacing his remaining teeth that had succumbed to discolouration, chipping, and other unpleasant oral health symptoms.
After a thorough consultation with our experts, it was decided that the All on 4 treatment was undoubtedly the best way to go and Mr Hutchinson’s best chance at restoring his smile to its former glory.
Mr Hutchinson’s “new teeth” were created to match the feel and shape of his mouth, presenting a natural-looking profile and smile that melded well with the rest of his features. Once the All on 4 dental implants in Essex were fitted, the results were astounding and were especially treasured by Mrs Hutchinson:
The decision to have all his teeth sorted out was really the best thing we ever did and has honestly changed him completely… he’s more confident and more upbeat about life in general. More than I would have ever hoped for. And the bonus of stopping (almost) smoking is something I never imagined would happen. When we began way back and he faced the prospect of losing all his teeth you saw him at his lowest ebb. What has happened since he received his all-on-4 dental implants in Essex has been the best medicine ever.
Mrs Hutchinson (Gerald’s Wife)
So, if you have been wondering whether or not opting to replace your missing teeth and relieving yourself of troublesome teeth was the right move, just know that cases like Mr Hutchinson’s are far from rare. In fact, the All on 4 procedure has helped thousands upon thousands of people worldwide to restore their smile and their confidence, ultimately changing their lives for the better.

Implant retained dentures with SynCone
The first is implant-retained dentures using a technique known as “SynCone”. Between 4 (lower jaw) to 6 (upper jaw) all-on-4 dental implants in Essex are placed in the jaw which have tapered posts fitted to them. These tapered posts that are attached to the implants lock tightly into place with a coping (cap) that is fabricated into the base of the denture. This tight connection between the post and the cap helps to support and secure the denture for use on the same day.
Unlike traditional implant-retained dentures, the SynCone technique allows the dentures to be held in place by the all-on-4 dental implants in Essex on the same day as surgery rather than waiting 3-6 months for the implants to integrate. SynCone dentures also have less of a tendency to cause gum and bone shrinkage than traditional implant-retained dentures.
Same day teeth – All on 4 dental implants in Essex
Getting dental implants used to be an extensive process. But not anymore…
Today, dental implants in Essex can be applied in a single day, thanks to advancements in dental implant technology, like the All-on-4 method. Restoring your ability to bite, chew, speak and smile in no time.
No more waiting months for your mouth to heal. No multiple surgeries. You could walk into our clinic at the start of the day and walk out with a brand-new smile just a few short hours later.
How? Four special titanium dental implants in Essex are attached to your mouth, replacing your tooth roots. A set of sparkling new teeth is then securely fixed to the new titanium roots. This is possible even if you’ve suffered serious bone loss.
And… that’s it! The process won’t be this quick for everyone, depending on your specific circumstances, but many patients can enjoy a brand new set of teeth in virtually no time at all, instantly lifting their smiles and their spirits.

All-on-4 FAQs
Can you give me some information on All on 4?

Are the teeth removable?
No the teeth are screwed in place, they can be removed by the dentist for repair or maintenance
Do I need to be without teeth for any length of time?
No. The technique is often described as teeth in a day. We normally do the surgery in the morning and fit the new teeth in the afternoon with 2 quick appointments in the middle.
Are these the final permanent teeth?
No these are provisional teeth fitted to allow the tissue to heal for 4-6 months. The final teeth are made when the tissues have healed. This normally takes 3 visits
I have full dentures can I still have All on 4?
Subject to a full assessment and most importantly a CT scan to measure the bone before treatment, you should still be able to have All on 4 treatment if you wear dentures.
Does it hurt?
All on 4 dental implants in Essex will be provided using normal local anaesthetic and most patients are surprised by how straightforward the treatment is.
For more anxious patients, we can use sedation to help you relax during the treatment.
Once completed, there may be some mild discomfort during the days after the procedure as your mouth adjusts, but this can usually be treated by simple over-the-counter medication.
If you have any worries, let your dentist know and they will advise you further.
