This innovative whitening system, which is a favourite among celebrities, combines aspects of home and clinic treatment to bring the best results on the market. Treatment takes a total of 15 days and 14 of these days involve home treatment, so this is a really convenient option for those with busy work and social calendars. Before treatment begins, you will be asked to visit the clinic so that we can talk to you about Enlighten, explain how it works and what it involves and answer any questions. We will also have a look at your teeth to make sure they are in good condition and check that you are a suitable candidate for whitening treatment. We will then create impressions of your teeth and these will be used to form your bespoke Enlighten whitening trays. When your trays are ready, you can take them and start your treatment. The trays look similar to mouth guards and they contain whitening agent. When they come into contact with your teeth, they gradually lighten the enamel, giving you a brighter, whiter smile. You should wear the trays for around 6 hours for 14 consecutive days and on the 15th day, we will organise an appointment for you to come in for the final stage of treatment. This involves a power whitening session, which lasts just an hour and will give your smile that added sparkle and ensure you enjoy timeless results. During this session, we will apply whitening gel to your teeth and then shine a light onto it, which activates it and allows it to work its magic; all you have to do is wear a pair of goggles to protect your eyes and lie back and relax.
