Introducing Enlighten
Enlighten is a professional whitening treatment, which is capable of achieving magical results. This is currently the only system available in the UK that guarantees shade B1, the lightest tooth shade.
Enlighten is a two-step treatment, and it combines at-home and in-chair treatment. Before you begin, we’ll invite you to attend an informal consultation. We’ll talk to you about the treatment, the processes involved and answer any questions. We’ll then create a putty mould of your teeth, which will serve as a template for your bespoke Enlighten whitening trays. Once your trays are ready, you can take them home and start your treatment.
For the first 14 days, we ask you to wear your Enlighten trays, which look similar to a gum shield, for around 6 hours per day. The trays contain a bleaching agent, which gradually lightens the enamel on contact. Your trays should feel comfortable, and you can wear them during the night so that they don’t interfere with your daily routine.
On the 15th day, we’ll organise a short session at the clinic to complete your treatment. This 1-hour power whitening session will give your smile that extra sparkle! We will ask you to lie back and relax, put on some goggles, and then apply the whitening agent to your teeth. This will then be activated using a light source. After an hour, we’ll show you your amazing new smile, and you’re free to go and show it off to all your friends and family.
