Emergency dental injuries
Dental injuries come in various forms, from fractures and dental abscesses to severe dental pain and teeth that have been knocked out. If you are in pain or need urgent dental care, you can rely on us.
If you have severe dental pain, you need help. We know how unbearable toothache can be and the faster you get treatment, the quicker the pain will ease. Possible causes of tooth pain include infections, abscesses and fractures.
Once we have examined the tooth, we will discuss the treatment options with you and try to ease your pain as quickly as possible.
Dental abscesses are very unpleasant and the quicker they are treated, the better. Abscesses need to be drained and removed and we will do this for you and ease your discomfort as quickly as we can.
What to do if you lose a tooth
If you lose a tooth playing sport or are involved in an accident, contact us as soon as you can and we will fit you in. Find the tooth and clean it, holding the crown section, rather than the tooth root. Hold the tooth between your gum and the inside of your cheek or place it in a glass of milk. If your child has lost a tooth, do not tell them to hold the tooth in their mouth as this carries a risk of choking.
