Lumineers Chelmsford Essex
What are Lumineers?
Lumineers are extremely thin veneers created by Cerinate. They will enhance your smile by covering gaps and improving the appearance of misshapen, stained or worn-down teeth. The treatment lasts for between two and three weeks and will leave you with a smile you are no longer ashamed to show.
How are they different to traditional veneers?
Unlike traditional veneers, Lumineers are created using a specially patented material called cerinate porcelain. While it is known for being very strong, cerinate porcelain is also exceptionally thin – so thin, in fact, that Lumineers have been compared to contact lenses. The unique strength and size of Lumineers means that, unlike other veneers, they can be used with very little tooth preparation, so you can improve your smile without the pain of tooth shaving or grinding. They are the perfect solution for people who want a quick and strong solution to their stained, gapped and crooked teeth.
How are Lumineers fitted?
The procedure is relatively pain and stress free. After meeting with the Dentist in Essex, the structure of your teeth will be mapped out using advanced dental technology, which will then be used by a dental technician to create your bespoke Lumineers. Although Lumineers are intended to function without the need for tooth grinding or shaving, on occasion it may be necessary to carry out some slight preparation work. Finally, your Lumineers will be bonded to your teeth before being shaped and polished to give you back your confident smile.
Are there any risks associated with Lumineers?
Lumineers will only be offered to patients who the dentist believes are suitable. For the most part, they are considered a relatively risk-free and extremely efficient solution to dental issues. Once they are fitted you will not need to make any alteration to your oral hygiene routine, as they are simple to maintain and durable. They are also completely removable and your teeth will remain intact.
What's the catch?
At Advance Dental Clinic there is no catch to any of our dental treatments – Lumineers are no different. If suitable, this relatively pain-free procedure is sure to give you a winning smile for years to come.
